Whale meat again...…..
Got no quail got no hen...…………………...
Corona virus....
Because of the restrictions  put on travel and group size in the UK there will be no gadgie walks for some time. Some of us are over 70 too and considered vulnerable so heads down and behave.
Hope it's not too long before we're back.

  1. I(we) hope it's not long too. Have followed your blog for a few years now and owe you many thanks for some of your ideas we have copied, sometimes in part, sometimes inspiring us to a bigger challenge. The Dales Way in 2019, West Highland Way in 2018 and all booked for The Speyside Way in May 2020 now sadly cancelled (perhaps 2021?).We are of a similar age to you with I guess similar aches and pains but the rewards make all the effort worthwhile when visiting such wonderful places when walking in an ares we call home.
So please keep going when allowed again and regale your tales(with photos)to keep us going as well.
Stay safe to The Gadgies and all your followers.

    1. That’s really appreciated Brian, thank you.
This year we are doing The Tributaries walk round the Yorkshire Dales in a circle starting and finishing at Settle. Meant to be in early June but as things are, who knows...

  2. Good morning Gadgies! You will all be getting cabin fever by now. I thought of you when I heard you were also going into lock down. In NZ we are maybe (and it is only maybe) going down to Level 3 next week. Just hoping it is not too soon to drop from Level 4. Stay safe and well gadgies and gadgettes one and all. Best regards from Gloria in NZ.
